Any image · cropped in your browser, never uploaded
Runs in your browser — your file is never uploaded.
PNG is the format for logos, icons, screenshots, and anything with a transparent background or hard edges. Cropping one should not quietly flatten that transparency onto white, and here it doesn't: a PNG in gives a PNG out, with the alpha channel intact.
PNG is also lossless, so the pixels you keep are byte-for-byte the pixels you had. There is no generation loss from cropping — unlike JPEG, you can crop a PNG repeatedly without it degrading.
How to crop a PNG
- 1Add the PNG. Drop it in — it stays on your device.
- 2Select the area. Drag the box, or type exact pixels.
- 3Download. A cropped PNG with transparency kept.
