This policy covers the Keyword Research Tool specifically. Unlike our other tools, it requires an account and talks to a data provider, so it collects more than a calculator does.
Account and authentication
Using the tool requires a free account. You sign up with an email and password, which are handled by our authentication provider, Supabase. Your password is stored only as a salted hash by Supabase — we never see or store it in plain text. We use your email to identify your account, sign you in, and give each user a fair search allowance. To keep the free tier usable for everyone, temporary or disposable email addresses are not accepted at signup.
Your keyword searches
When you look up a keyword, the term is sent to DataForSEO, our licensed search-metrics provider, to fetch its monthly volume, difficulty, CPC, and intent. We do not scrape Google — the data is fully licensed. To keep the service fast and affordable, results are cached in our Supabase database keyed by the keyword itself; that shared cache is not tied to your identity, and any user searching the same term reuses it.
Usage and operational data
We record aggregate usage — such as how many searches an account has run and internal cost accounting — to enforce per-user allowances and a monthly spend cap. The site is hosted on Vercel, which may keep standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested) for security and operations. We do not use these logs to identify you.
Third parties we rely on
We share the minimum data needed with the services that run the tool: Supabase (accounts, authentication, and the keyword cache), DataForSEO (receives the keyword you search to return its metrics), and Vercel (hosting). We do not sell your personal data.
Advertising and analytics
We may show ads served by third-party networks such as Google AdSense, and use privacy-respecting analytics to understand aggregate traffic. Ad networks may use cookies to show ads relevant to you. You can opt out of personalized advertising at Google Ads Settings or block cookies in your browser.
Your choices and contact
